Retreat Overview

Our 6 day retreat is for anyone who wants to deepen their yoga and meditation practices, take time away from the hassles of daily life and enjoy the company of like minded souls.

This retreat affords us the opportunity to enter into the heart of mother nature on the New South Wales coast, known for its incredible beaches, national parks and the relaxed hip vibe. It is the ideal place to spend six days enjoying all things yoga, 5 nights cozy accommodation, delicious vegetarian/vegan meals and time to relax.

The yoga taught is inspired by the teachings and linage of living yogi legend Sri Dharma Mittra. A classical three part practice that includes energising asana, prana-enhancing breath work and meditation for the mind. You’ll also enjoy yoga Nidra, philosophy discussions, kirtan (chanting) and free time to explore the surroundings.



Suitable for students of all levels from beginners to the more experienced practitioner, and anyone looking for a transformative mini retreat.

Day 2-5:
6:45am - Dharma Yoga All Levels Practice
8:00am - Breakfast
9:00am - Wellness, Meditation or philosophy sessions
10:00am - Fresh Juice Break
10:30am - Morning Yoga Workshop
12:00pm - Relax
12:30pm - Lunch
1:30pm - Relax / Treatments / Surfing
4:30pm - Dharma Gentle/ Yin Yoga Class
6:00pm - Dinner
7:00pm - Guided Meditation / Philosophy / Pranayama / Chanting

Day 6:
6:45am - Dharma Yoga All Levels Practice
8:00am - Breakfast
9:00am - Closing Circle
11:00am - Check out and departure (you are welcome to stay on to use the facilities and have lunch)

The schedule is flexible and planned to maximise your experience of wellness & yoga whilst allowing free time to explore the surrounding area and engage with the local culture.

Our retreat is held at the Byron Yoga Retreat Centre which is a tranquil eco haven within walking distance of Byron Bay's beautiful beaches and eclectic town centre. Byron Yoga Retreat Centre is on the outskirts of beautiful Byron Bay an easy walk from the town centre and iconic beaches.

Accommodation is simple and comfortable with the focus on enjoying the lush green surrounds. The site has a heated swimming pool and organic gardens that provide much of the food – healthy and tasty vegetarian meals. Byron Yoga Retreat Centre is a wonderful place to focus on your yoga, wellbeing and personal growth
